Serving Northwest Indiana & Chicagoland (Indiana & Illinois)

Our commitment

We create spaces where kids and grown-ups can slow down, play, and really see each other. That only works if everyone can take part. We’re committed to accessible events and a usable website for people of all abilities.

Scope (website + events)

This statement covers our website (built on Google Sites) and the family events we host at schools, churches, parks, and community venues.

Standards we strive for

Note: Google Sites has some limitations (e.g., limited control of certain code). When the platform falls short, we’ll offer an equivalent alternative on request.

Event accessibility (what to expect)

Requesting accommodations

Tell us what helps your family enjoy the event—we’ll adapt. For interpreters or printed/large-print materials, please reach out 5 business days in advance if possible.

Website features & alternatives

If any page is hard to use, email us and we’ll get you the info another way (plain email, phone, large print).

Third-party tools we use

We rely on services like HubSpot (forms), Google (Sites/Analytics), Square (payments), and GoFundMe (donations). Their accessibility may vary; if a tool gives you trouble, we’ll offer an alternative path (phone/email invoice, downloadable form, etc.).

Staff training

Our team is trained to:

Feedback & issue reporting

If something isn’t working for you, tell us—we’ll fix what we can and offer an immediate alternative.

Indiana & Illinois notes

We follow applicable accessibility and public accommodation laws in Indiana and Illinois and the spirit of the ADA. If we’re at your venue, we’ll coordinate with site staff to meet local requirements and your building’s policies.

Continuous improvement

We review this statement at least once a year and after major site or program changes.
