Safety & Conduct Policy
Nfin8 Hearts
Effective date: August 14, 2025
Serving Northwest Indiana & Chicagoland (Indiana & Illinois)
Our promise
We design every event so families can focus on connection while we focus on safety. This policy spells out the shared expectations that help keep everyone safe, respected, and welcomed.
Our role
Trained staff: All on-site staff are trained in event safety, first aid basics, and positive crowd management.
Clear zones: Activity areas are clearly marked; we keep walkways and exits open.
First aid & emergencies: We keep a stocked first aid kit and follow venue-specific emergency plans.
Weather safety: For outdoor events, we monitor conditions and may pause, move, or cancel activities for safety.
Your role as a participant
Supervision: Children remain under the supervision of their parent/guardian at all times.
Safe play: Follow staff instructions, respect posted rules, and avoid rough or unsafe behavior.
Health: Please do not attend if you or your child are experiencing contagious illness symptoms.
Respect for all: Treat other families, staff, and the venue with kindness and respect.
Physical safety guidelines
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are encouraged for active play.
Activity limits: Age or size limits may apply to certain equipment (posted at each station).
No prohibited items: No weapons, illegal substances, or dangerous objects allowed.
Service animals: Welcome, but must remain under handler control.
Venue & partner guidelines
Some venues (schools, churches, parks) may have additional rules—please follow their instructions alongside ours.
Incidents & removal
We reserve the right to remove any person whose behavior puts others at risk, disrupts the event, or violates these policies. Refunds are not guaranteed in these cases.
Photo & media safety
We often capture photos and short videos for event promotion. If you prefer not to be photographed, let our staff know at check-in and we’ll provide an opt-out sticker or wristband.
Liability notice
Participation in active play involves inherent risks. By attending, you agree to assume those risks and release Nfin8 Hearts, its staff, and venue partners from liability for injuries or property loss except where caused by our negligence. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
Emergencies
If you notice a safety concern, alert a staff member immediately. In case of serious injury or emergency, call 911 first, then notify staff.
